Award Criteria and Disqualification's
Criteria and
Considerations:
 You must be 18 years of age or older to apply for this award.
Both personal and commercial websites are considered for these
awards.
Your site should have at
least 5 quality pages of content other than your awards pages and link
pages.
Site must be in english or
have an english translation.
Your site should be not
have vulgar language or topics of sexism; intolerance; bigotry or any pornography.
Absolutely NO ADULT sites or anything we deem as
"adult" will be considered for these awards.
Content should be
informative, accurate in both content and spelling and background and font colors should compliment each other and be easy to
read.
Right click should not
be disabled.
We will ask you for a
password and the word to use is Ranger. I am sure you think this is silly to
have a password but it is our way of checking to be sure you read the criteria.
External
links should always open in a new window. Internal
links should always open in the same window.
- Privacy Policy
should be posted if you collect any information even just a
request for email. If you collect information from your visitors, you should not only have
a privacy policy but should post a link to the compliance with COPPA (Children's
Online Privacy Act)
- Always give your visitors a way to contact
you, if you have a form give an alternative email to contact should be listed incase the
form doesn't work.
- Your site should not
require information to be filled in or required to join to view the site.
You must have a link page to awards won on your home page
and agree to post our link.
If you do not attain our award you may re-apply if your site should change
AFTER 60 days of your first application.
Your
site will be evaluated in detail and we will notify you of our decision within 3
weeks from the date of receipt of your application. Maximum points of 10 can be
obtained.
The decision of the judges is final.
These awards are not a "give away. If you do not win now, please
review your site to see what needs improvement. Feel free to re-apply after 60 days.

Score 9- 10 Gold
Disqualification's
These are automatic disqualifications.
Please read carefully before you apply for the Reach for the Stars Award.
Upon first review of your site if we find any
disqualifcations listed below, you will receive an email from us stating your site has
been disqualified and no further evaluation will be made of your site.
Under 18 years of age
No award page link listed on your
front page
You have to join to view site
Right click disabled
No sites with vulgarity, hate,
racist, prejudice or slander against anyone or group of people, adult content, illegal or
gambling
No under construction sites
Sites with less than 5 pages of
content - do not count pages of links, Guestbook, WebRing. or awards page
No sites that are only links to other
sites
Sites that are not in English or have
an English translation
Sites with pop-ups under your control
If it crashes my browser or won't let
me out of it.
Cursor mouse trails or music that can
not be turned off. These are so annoying to visitors.
Your site must be able to be viewed
without having to scroll to view the whole page.

Don't fill out the
application for our award if you do not intend on posting our award! All winners who
do not post the awards won will be deleted from the award winners.
